Takamatsu castle

In 1590 Takamatsu castle was built by i 1590 Ikoma Chikamasa, who was the first feudal overlord of the Takamatsu Domain. The castle was run by the clanleader for 54 years. Afterwhich it was transfered to the Matsudaira-clan. The castle is one of the three water castles of Japan.

Kyoto budo center

Budo center in Kyoto Budo Center. It can be dated back till 1899. In this picture one can observe the old building. There are several houses attached to the Budo center such as the archery range. In the center they practice aikido, iaido, naginata, tai chi, kendo, judo, kyudo (archery) and karate.
